Thanks, Nick

So a couple of days ago, Nick, debbs, and I were hanging out in the parking lot, no surprise. And then we started discussing the future. nick doesn't want kids. initially i'm a little taken back when someone says this because i'm all about starting a family. but his reasoning was pretty good and it made me re-examine myself.

everything points back to life and how it should be lived. he doesn't want kids because he wants to live his life to the fullest "I want to make bad decisions and bad choices, i want to live wrecklessly and do lots of drugs" i want to say that i've done all of those things. "I don't think that life can be lived to the fullest with the weight of a family on your shoulders" and then i thought, that's absolutely true. everything, your finances, time, and energy will be dragged down for at least 18 years trying to support this other person.

it doesn't completely change my plans and the future i want, but it definately makes me want to be less hindered when it comes to life and the choices that i make. after that we drove through the parking lot through the sunroof. Stupid and dangerous? a little. Spontaneous and fun? for sure.

p.s. i hope this doesn't jinx us, but he's a little bit cute, no?
sorry, mom. :]
